LAUDATO SI of Pope Francis: Challenges and Responses

Print

In nr. 7 of the Encyclica Laudato Si', Pope Francis writes the following about the Social Doctrine of the Church and the ecological concern: «[...] Popes echo the reflections of numerous scientists, philosophers, theologians and civic groups, all of which have enriched the Church’s thinking on these questions. Outside the Catholic Church, other Churches and Christian communities – and other religions as well – have expressed deep concern and offered valuable reflections on issues which all of us find disturbing.»

This page of COMIUCAP is intended as a platform to facilitate further research and foster multiple conversations on this most recent and highly relevant magisterial document of the Catholic Church. The page is under construction and will be actualized on a regular basis. The page will include articles and other studies relevant for a serious reflection on the importance of caring for our Common Home as well as materials considered helpful both for teaching and action in the realms of contemporary ecology.
