From November 16-19, 2011, the Department of Philosophy of the Pontificia Università Gregoriana (Roma), founding member of COMIUCAP, organized a Congress under the title L'uomo dell'età moderna e la Chiesa. The main organizer of this event was Professor Paul Gilbert, Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy, who counted with the collaboration of the Departments of Theology and Ecclesiastical History of the Gregorian University.
