The Conference Truth, Lies, Fake News and Moral Education was held at the Sydney (Broadway) Campus of the University of Notre Dame Australia. In line with what St. Augustine did centuries ago, the goal was to explore how the search for truth amounts to the search for God. After all, God is the Truth. The event was marked by an open and diligent discussion of some of the many philosophical issues associated with the complex issues surrounding topics such as the Search for Truth and the production of Fake News and how one and the other have serious implications for the understanding of Education today.
